Human Abuse can affect everyone, from birth to death - regardless of age or sex at anytime. The most vulnerable are the elderly, mentally impaired, children, and women.
• Child Abuse: 4 million children are sent to child protection agencies. US has one of the worst records – losing on average 5 children every day to child abuse.
• Domestic Abuse: 12 million women and men suffer physical abused by an intimate partner in the US.
• Elder Abuse: 5 million older Americans are abused. The annual loss by victims of financial abuse is estimated to be at least $36.5 billion.
• Human Trafficking: The Human Trafficking Hotline has received 399,494+ signals since its inception.
